About Complete Student Homes
Complete Student Homes is a Durham-based student property company founded in 2002 when we both graduated from Durham. As Durham graduates we really do know, from first-hand experience, what it is like to study at Durham as both under and post-graduates, and what students need from their living-out accommodation. Thanks to this direct experience we built up a portfolio of properties within Durham City, focused on providing students with well decorated and furnished properties, which we maintain to the highest possible standard and meet the DSU code of standards. We also ensure that we employ a team of friendly, highly-qualified professional local tradesmen who are experienced in working on Durham students' homes; in fact the gardener worked at DSU for a number of years, the house keeper has worked as a bedder at Castle and the Maintenance Manager is a Durham graduate himself!
As local residents we care greatly about the University, its students and the wider community. We are not a corporate company, run by people who have no direct influence, but instead care about the properties we rent and the tenants who rent them. This also means that we can be much more flexible than other landlords and management companies, enabling a quick resolution to any queries or questions that inevitably crop up while you are living out.
Complete Student Homes are also a founding member of Student Home Zone (SHZ), which is a group of like-minded Durham landlords, who provide the largest portfolio of accommodation available to Durham students. Complete Student Homes offers all properties with a choice of two rental packages, giving tenants the option to decide if they want to manage their bills themselves, or, for a fee of just £14 (for 4 bedroom houses) or £13 (for 5 bedroom houses) or £12.50 (for 6 bedroom house) per week each, have their bills paid for them.
