Are your properties compliant with Legal Standards?

We fully support the University's  Code of Standards (COS), in fact we were members of the Landlord’s Consultative Committee who implemented the original COS scheme, with all of our houses being totally compliant with legal safety measures and best practice guidelines. All of our properties have up-to-date gas and electrical safety certificates, conducted by our Gas Safe (CORGI) and NICEC registered tradesmen.

How can I view one of your houses?

Please take a look at our properties on this website first, by using the search facility or browse properties options, then contact us either by e-mail or telephone, the details for this are at the foot of each page, or fill in the enquiry form. We will then be able to arrange a viewing of the property or properties of your choice, but please allow us a short time to liaise with our current tenants to make sure the suggested time in convenient for them too.

I would like to rent one of your houses, what do I do next?

Fantastic! Please contact us as described above and we will arrange to meet up with you to look over the tenancy agreement and answer any questions you have. If you would like to take the tenancy agreement away with you to look over, or show your parents, we can provide you with a sample copy, or will e-mail one to you as a PDF attachment in advance. When you sign up we will take some details from you via a simple Google form, and ask for your deposit to secure the property, we will also provide all the information you will need to start your tenancy when the time comes.  All of the signing is done via Sturents' on line contract signing: clear and simple.

What will I have to pay when I sign the tenancy agreement?

Your deposit: no more and no less!

Why do you ask for a deposit?

This is taken at the time you sign your contract to secure the property for you. We take a deposit to cover against and damage to the property during your tenancy, however, from our experience this seldom happens and generally deposits are returned in full at the end of the tenancy. From this year, all of our deposits with be handled under the My Deposits Scheme.  We handle all our contracts through Sturents' on line contract system: clear and easy, including the deposit!

How 'green' are your houses?

We always replace standard light bulbs with energy-saving light bulbs, we ensure all houses have the good insulation from heat loss and whenever possible we always purchase energy efficient appliances.

Can I find your properties and others on another website?

Yes, our properties are also listed on Sturents.
